I knew that I wouldn't be pleased with the outcome of this presidential election, regardless of whether McCain or Obama won. But here we are.... I stumbled upon this verse not too long ago, and I find it comforting:
Proverbs 21:1 The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will.
May it also give you comfort, and may you trust in God's sovereignty and know that He works all things together for the good of those who love him and do according to His commands. Even this.
