I should say that in this photo, it was Michael's room. Yes, we also helped move all of this stuff out! Michael, Susan's stepson, was going to help move his stuff out of his room, but after he got everything of value out of the barns, his help disappeared. Charlie, Lisa, and I moved all the furniture to Susan's house (except for the recliners that went to the burn pile) as well as several boxes of things, to include his prized Confederate flag and cars on the wall. Again, much went to the dump and burn piles.
Like the master bedroom, there was considerable damage to the subfloor on the far wall. Randy replaced the damaged subfloor there and in the closet. Walls and ceiling are cleaned, primed, and painted.
Lisa found the curtain rods on clearance at Lowe's and my mom had picked up these curtains at Lowe's years ago, but they wouldn't work for Shiphrah's room so she just hung onto them until the time that they could be put to use somewhere. Voila! Perfect timing arrived! The ceiling fan belongs to the Murrays.
The floor has begun!
Finished up with moldings back in place!
And Ashley all moved in!
