The Crud Continues

I saw the doctor this morning and got some stronger antibiotics. I'll return Monday for my ultrasound and to recheck my lungs, ears, & sinuses. Baby's heart rate was 160. Normal is 110 to 160, so it's at the high side of normal. Decongestants will make it go above normal, but I was told it is better for baby's heart rate to be a little higher than normal and for me to be able to breathe, so to take them if I need them. I hope this antibiotic does the trick. I'm sick of being sick! The nurse told me that some women just stay sick their entire pregnancies and that I might cycle through one thing after another until the delivery. I sure hope not! I suppose it's because the immune system can supress itself so as not to fight off the foreign body in the womb. I'm praying for relief! Anyhow, my doctor was very kind and almost fatherly!

To top it off, I've given the whole family the crud. The kids aren't so bad, I don't think. They run and play and cough and sneeze, but the running and playing part makes me think they're okay. Solomon is probably the worst. Probably because he detests clothes. I made him put some on tonight and he fusses and pulls at them, but is living with it.

My fearless leader stayed out too late working in the cold by the light he just put in the barn to build me another barn door. It's pretty spiffy, but he's now sick, too. I hate that he's sick, but if I have to lay in bed much of the day, it's a whole lot more fun to have him with me!

Much to be done in just a few days. Hope we can be up and at 'em soon. Your prayers would be appreciated!
