Yesterday, we made our way out from under the covers to David's sister's house. His mom was in town, for only a couple days, and we wanted to see her and have a little Christmas celebration together. We enjoyed exchanging gifts, a simple yet yummy meal, and catching up. We got to hear all about her recent trip to China,visiting places she knew while growing up, and how the Visa preparers in Washington nearly exiled her, her brothers, and a neice through the placement of an incorrect stamp! We saw photos and gained a vision for perhaps visiting China ourselves one day.
Today we are resting. We need it. I would like to stay in bed all day, and would if things like food and medicine weren't necessary. Speaking of which, I have a little boy who is still hungry. Bottomless pit, he is. Then, back to bed. It would be nice to be able to sleep until we are well and then wake up...
