Jammie Hike!
Today I've been a really fun, but probably really irresponsible mom. We had bread pudding for breakfast. We hiked through the woods with the goats, dog, and cat--in our pajamas! We've had a blast! The goats enjoyed all the leaves and slim twigs. We found scads of hickory nuts and had fun collecting a few. Solomon would get enthralled in some leaf or twig or nut or something and then find himself an uncomfortable distance behind us and come running while yelling, "Wait a me! Wait a me!" Samuel enjoyed watching Pluto chase Cinderella. (Pluto has to keep Cinderella in her place!) Shiphrah would "accidentally" lose a shoe and pretend she was the fairytale Cinderella and continues to think we should rename our dog! I enjoyed the sunshine, fresh air, nice weather, and little hands clutching mine. God is so good and we are so blessed!

Why does Shiphrah no longer want the dog to be named Cinderella? Does she want that name for herself or is another princess more important now?
The hike sounds like so much fun and it was a lovely day for it.
Shiphrah wants the new baby to be Cinderella! I've told her we can't do that because our dog is Cinderella. So, the dog just needs a new name then, she thinks! I think she's getting content with Shiloh now. She's telling everyone that will be the baby's name, even though David & I haven't quite decided!
I like Shiloh. Teri and I were planning a name presentation for you two. However, since she has been unwell (and me too), we have fallen behind in our plan.
We do have a few months left though because baby S won't be here until May. If we find some very suitable choices, we will be sure to present them.
We do have one that we both like very much, found it in a great passage of the Bible, and think you and DW will be elated with it. You will have to wait a bit to hear what it is. I know you are holding your breath until we tell you! ;)
Oh, but for Shiphrah's sake, Sinderella would be ok but I don't like that 'chunk' at the beginning of the name (with the S spelling).

Hmmm... I'm curious! In our running so far are Shiloh, Seraphina, and Sarah. Out of the running? Synteche, Shulamith, and Sapphira. (Just in case you get any ideas... :)
