The honeymoon is not over for the vinyl floors or the new toilets, but another bathroom issue has made itself known. A leak, under the sink. Looks like it will require some more demolition work, some plywood, drawer glides, and some of our leftover vinyl pieces and adhesive... or a new vanity cabinet in the master bathroom. And of course, plumbing repair. I really hope it doesn't come to new cabinets, because then we have to be concerned as to whether or not a new cabinet would fit the footprint of the old one (and where the flooring was cut!) and cabinets are pricey. Ug. I'm going to the barn!

Oh, no, Billie! How quickly bliss turned to the blues. You must continue to focus on all the good that has been completed and have David ask his bookkeeper about where her husband gets low priced pieces for the house (doors, cabinets, etc.) I think she said that they find them in a special place at Lowes.
I am doing a snow dance...well, really a wiggle in my nest for there to be no school tomorrow. That way DW can take care of stuff!
You'll notice I have lost my password so am being "Anonymous" as my username. However, I will sign in at the bottom (so you don't get me and the pesky Anonymous mixed up!);)

Hello Anonymous Selena! :) I am still thrilled to no end about all the good things going on. :) I never thought flooring and toilets could bring such joy, and a better barn layout has improved my outlook imensely! Starting your day being pushed around by a buck has a way of souring things, and I'm no longer doing that, but enjoying my silly fun birds!
David will have to ask about that! We would love to have new cabinets, I just don't want to pay a bundle for them and hope the new ones would fit right... And with one room taken apart and affecting other rooms in our house, I'm ready for the household upheaval to settle down a bit!
Looks like we're getting snow, but school is still on. We need to wiggle in our nests some more! :) But first, I need coffee...
