For some reason today, we were blessed with a school closing, so we got to have Daddy home all day! I always love when that happens, but today, especially, I needed it! So, we enjoyed doing barn chores together. We got 8 eggs! Anything over 6 eggs means it really isn't that cold, I think. :) But it was rainy and there was a little bit of ice early this morning...
Anyhow, we've been having a fun and restful day. Solomon this afternoon decided to bare my belly so he could talk through the belly button speaker to the new baby. This is quite funny in and of itself, but it gets better... My mom said, "Solomon, do you want to be the baby?" To which, Solomon smiled, stuck his head against my tummy, and started pushing hard with his legs as if he were going to just crawl back on in! He kept this up for quite a while, and while we were all laughing hysterically, it wasn't all that comfortable. Thankfully he stopped. While he was in his birthday suit, I'm certain there isn't enough room in there for him... even if Samuel thinks there must enough room in my thighs and elsewhere to pack an extra kid. They do say the most flattering things sometimes, don't they? Gotta love 'em!
Shiphrah has been singing songs about Shiloh... and "Anatant" whoever that is. She will have to write her own dictionary one day, I think. Right now, she's dancing with Daddy and is in her glory. One of her favorite things is to be taken up into Daddy's arms and have him sing to her as they dance. David is looking forward eagerly to another little girl! :)
