Tooth Tales

Despite the fact that Samuel's first adult tooth made an appearance in what seems to be ages ago, he lost the first baby tooth just yesterday morning! I've tried to teach him to push against the back of this tooth with his tongue (just like my mom taught me when I had an adult tooth grow in behind my baby tooth... in the same spot) but his tongue doesn't seem to be that coordinated. Anyhow, we now have the first in our collection of teeth. (Why do we save these again?) Samuel is very excited about this big boy milestone. I'd like to tie a brick to the top of his head to see if it will keep him a little boy forever! (My dad used to say he was going to do that to me, but I ran too fast!) Samuel runs fast, too... guess he will get to keep growing up!
