If it weren't for malaria and poisonous snakes, I'd love to move to the tropics so as not to have this cold winter weather and the illness that accompanies it. I know. My MI relatives are saying, "What cold winter weather?!" Remember, I'm spoiled! Anyhow, coughing and postnasal drip have a way of bringing that morning sickness back, and it was never a welcome guest. David tells me I'm his hero. I'd rather have some other hero superpower like flying or being super stretchy.
On a happy note, Santa Clause has taken a few new forms...or maybe they're the wise men? Fed Ex deliveryman, UPS deliveryman, USPS deliveryman... all came bearing gifts yesterday! How fun! So I would hide out and wrap someone's gifts and have the other 2 kiddos take the wrapped presents to the tree. They thought it was great fun, but Shiphrah is as curious as her mother. She kept trying to sneak in and see what I was doing! I hope she likes surprises better than I do!

If you're like David, reading this will cause you to question, "Elastigirl?" It's from the children's movie, The Incredibles. The parents are superheros by night, regular family by day. The mom is ElastiGirl, and being super stretchy has its definite advantages. For instance, she could type one handed back in her library while reaching the other hand down the hall, into the kitchen, and fix a sippee cup of chocolate milk... at least, that might be something I'd do with that superpower!
