Sad Evening

We haven't seen Snow White (our dog) all day. We went looking for her this evening, thinking that perhaps she was getting ready to deliver puppies and seeking seclusion. We wanted to know where she was so we could make sure she had plenty to eat and drink. What we found was not so pleasant.

She may have been seeking seclusion, which may explain why she was down at the road--somewhere she typically doesn't go. She was always the best at staying with her herd of goats. Anyhow, she had to have been hit by a very fast car, as she was quite clearly dead and it looked as though it was instantaneous.

Samuel got to say goodbye to her before David took the body off. Samuel wants another Great Pyrennes. Cinderella seems to be handling the loss of her sibling okay. She got into some neighbor's bottle of Tide that they had thrown in the trash, has blue ears, and smells laundryline fresh.
