This Morning's Project

Tomorrow, I have to quit playing around with all these power tools and become a responsible home-schooling mom. My blog posts are likely to slow down a bit. I have copying to do tonight. Once again, I will know what it is like to look forward to vacations for myself, not just so I get to see David more. I had one last little fling with the power tools this morning before I have to buckle down and get serious tomorrow. Here is the fruit of my labor:
It holds all of the kids' trains, match box cars, Cars cars, Tractor Supply vehicles, Hess trucks, and other little vehicle doo-dads. There are spaces for putting the missing ones whenever they turn up and two whole shelves at the top reserved for all the trains on the kids' Christmas and birthday wish lists! One day, I might consider puttying over the screw holes, priming, and painting it. For now, I'm just thrilled to have it done and up and all the little foot-crippling toys off the bedroom floor! I think it will be incentive for Solomon to begin speaking, too, because he has to tell me what he wants specifically!
