It's Thursday?

This week seems to have flown by. Of course, there is school, violin & piano practice, tending to animals, children, and the house... I've probably spent far too much time on the internet looking at interesting sites that seem to have only become more interesting with the announcement of Sarah Palin's vice presidential candidacy. In addition to that, I'm trying to work through the logistics of bringing home our new doeling. I am concerned that my other two does, who are twins and have their hierarchal positions figured out, will pummel this sweet little doe to shreds--in part because she's new and will need to learn her place in the herd, and in part because she's not half their size yet. It has been suggested that I bring a buddy in with her to ease her transition. It has been suggested that I not. There are ideas of a separate pen, possibly a dog house in the barn as a retreat, and more. So many suggestions to filter through, and I am so new at this, it is hard to know what is the best route. You can pray that even in our ignorance, Hully will thrive and be a fully-welcomed member of the herd by Jill & Julie.
