Haste Makes Waste

Samuel told me that the other day. I probably should have paid a little closer attention to him! I have been in such a frenzied hurry to get our barn stocked with hay for the year--my last big item to accomplish before having this baby, and I wanted it done. Well, I took up the first guy who offered to deliver hay for a reasonable price, and what I got isn't what I expected. There was definitely some miscommunication. I was in a hurry, and I got hay that will have a lot of waste... I really wanted a better grade of hay for the year, but such is life, I suppose. We will make do.

The hay got delivered yesterday morning, and yesterday afternoon, the weather defied the reports... I heard thunder and thankfully got the hay covered before the first drops of rain began. In the evening, I went to a breastfeeding class, and when I got home, I discovered that David had stacked all 75 bales of hay neatly in our hay loft! What a chore! What an amazing husband! He's my hero!!!!

Today I took a few cute pictures after doing chores. Here they are!
