Spoke Too Soon

As the 8 week mark quickly approaches (Sunday) these Sea Bands aren't cutting it as well as they had. 8 weeks is when morning sickness typically sets in for me, so it's not a shocker. I was surprised to be feeling sick earlier in my pregnancy than normal, so am thankful for the relief they provided for those couple of weeks. David likes to think that the earlier onset of morning sickness is due to twins. :) You know, that whole he'd really like to be a prophet thing. :) It could just as easily be because this is pregnancy #4, but we'll see next week when I have my first ultrasound. (well, not the first of my life--it will be the 2nd in my life--but the first in this pregnancy)

So for now, I'm about done for the day by noon, needing sleep and feeling icky. Survival mode it is for the next couple of months. Small price to pay for another eternal soul, it is. I keep reminding myself that. :) Good thing I have a wonderful family that will pick up my slack. There's a lot of slack now, and they're so gracious!

Maybe the Sea Bands will keep me from throwing up, even though I still feel nauseous. I suppose I won't quit wearing them just yet.

I'll be praying for you, Billie! Yes, a small price to pay for an eternal soul or two(or three!) :) Although, while I think that throwing up is yucky, I almost think it provides more relief than feeling nauseated does.

Who is your dr.? Where will you be delivering? We LOVE ours, btw.

Also, thanks so much for that yummy poppyseed chicken meal...it was soo delicious!

Well, how fun is that?! I didn't know you had a blog! Gorgeous photos! I'll be heading over there and taking a closer look. :) That's a nice alternative to laying on the couch all day! :)

I had my first pregnancy throw up just minutes ago, and I do think I feel a little better. But tomatoes are now off my safe foods list. :(

To answer your ?s, Dr. Trabue (is that who you have?) and Centennial. I want the help of lactation consultants right away and discovered w/Solomon that it's kind of nice to let those nurses take care of you!

You're most welcome! I wanted to take you a pie, but when we were loading the van in the morning, I discovered that my mom had eaten a slice! :)
