Shiloh's 4 months old!

Shiloh had her 4 month well visit this past Wednesday, so I'll share the details. She's right at 20 pounds! Poor thing just doesn't get to eat nearly enough! ;) So, it's time to change the carseat to the infant-to-toddler one. Still rear-facing, but it can handle a heavier weight. She's 25.5 inches long and her head is 17 something or other. I never pay too much attention to the head circumfrence. 90 to 95th percentile on length and head and off the charts on weight. Typical Hallman baby. :)

I never can remember when their eyes are finished changing color so I asked "Dr." Melissa (she's really a Physician's Assistant, but we like to call her that!) and she said they should be done by now. Wow! Our first blue-eyed kid! They all start out with blue eyes, but Samuel's are now green and Shiphrah & Solomon have brown eyes. Blue eyes and dimples. Isn't that something?! It sure is fun to see who God is going to create in each baby. All their personalities are so different and as much as they resemble one another, they each have their own unique look. Fun stuff.

Shiloh did really well during the exam and only cried once at the end when her little mouth had to be pried open to look down her throat! I might cry at that, too! :) She's quickly consoled, though. I had my well-visit after hers, and she did pretty well while waiting for me!

She's a lot of fun. Scooting around on the ground now, giggles when tickled, and smiles really big when you give her kisses. So sweet! She's really enjoying all the new animals, too. Isabella (the goat) even lets her pet her, which is really something because Shiloh isn't the best at petting. She often pulls hair, and Isabella is just as patient and doting as can be! :)

Gabe's eyes changed even after a year old! They were blue for the longest time, then gradually turned green, then finally settled on a light brown. Not saying that's going to happen, but just letting you know our experience :)

I think my other kids' eyes took longer to change, too, now that I think about it. I suppose we just have to wait and see!
