David has all the rafters up! He is now working on the hurricane straps and purlins. We've ordered the wood for the siding which should be cut and ready next week. There are a few metal edging pieces to be purchased before we can put up the metal roofing. It's just coming along!
I've stalled on the bathroom. Laundry, cheesemaking, barn chores, and cooking ahead have taken precedence right now. Hopefully I'll be able to get back at it soon. The walls are ready to sand and when that is done, primer and paint can go on! Then, we have a mirror that can go up over the vanity and David will have moldings to get to. He has so many projects! Our living, dining, hallway, and possibly kitchen are to get fresh paint, too. He told me last night that he'd like to go next summer with out any major projects. Hmmm... I'm not sure I know what that would be like! Does a garden count?
