Birthday Celebration

Yesterday we had a wonderful worship service (though I do need to remember to bring sweaters because the church's air conditioner works distractingly well) followed by a fellowship meal at Crockett Park. I am more than a little uneasy at playgrounds where it is difficult to keep an eye on the kiddos, but try to contain my paranoia so that my kids can enjoy themselves! If their requests to return are any indicaton, they had a blast.
After that, we swung by Publix to pick up a birthday cake and went home to have a little family birthday celebration. This is the second of the June Birthday Fest, with the first being when we splurged on dinner at the Aquarium Restaurant and went shopping for birthday clothes. It was just cake and ice cream and opening a few little presents. I have photos to share:

Lord only knows. My mom is forever buying junk. I think their intended use is for the garden, but Samuel has one that holds lightsabers. They have wheels, so Shiphrah's has been a stroller. Solomon's carts toys that he wants to take from the bedroom to strew all over the house. Gotta love birthday gifts, huh?
