The two on the right are sisters. Their mother is Charlotte, so I'm thinking of something like Savannah and Dallas for them, but I'm not settled on anything. I'd like the children to name them. The doe on the left is the polled (born without horns) Boer 75%/Alpine 12.5% /Nubian 12.5% cross. She's a month younger, and apparently sleeps with that chicken in the photo (note the mess on her back as a result!) They are currently in my quarantine pen. When I get them to like me (because I'm the food lady) and through their shot and worming regimen, they will go in with the dairy does. When we are able to fence out another pasture (but we've done enough fencing for now!) they will probably get moved. So, this is the beginning of our meat herd. :)
